Great Wolf Lodge

We took a mini-vacation at the Great Wolf Lodge in Cincinnati last weekend. Margaret loved the water, and even Phillip got a little dip. The adults had a great time enjoying the water slides and the lazy river!

Trick-or-treat!

Margaret really loved trick-or-treating this year! She didn't like people in scary costumes, but she really got into the fun parts of Halloween!

Our Pumpkin Carving Party!

We celebrated the night before Halloween with a pumpkin carving party! Several friends and neighbors came over, and we all had a great time eating chili, hot dogs, cookies, and spiced cider. We played seasonal music such as Monster Mash, Thriller, and Ghostbusters, and carved pumpkins in the garage.

Going for a swim?

Sarah took Margaret and Phillip to the mall earlier today, and Margaret had a little adventure. Every time we go to the mall, she loves to touch the water in the fountain and drop some "monies" in the fountain. Well, I still don't know exactly how it happened, but today touching the water turned into falling into the fountain! Mom fished her out (getting wet up to the knees in the process). Margaret was a bit shaken up at first, but it didn't take her long to decide that it was pretty funny. Luckily, we had some clean clothes in the diaper bag, so we were able to dry her off pretty quickly. Here she is, dripping wet, after her adventure.

We were all dressed in our ND apparel for the first game of the season. Thank god we won!

Side Trip to Notre Dame

On the way back from Michigan, we decided to take a side trip to Notre Dame and show Margaret and Phillip around campus. On the road we figured out we were only about 10 minutes apart from the Harris's so we decided to meet up at the bookstore. Margaret was very excited as soon as she saw the golden dome. She is ready to take "me, and you, and Lucy" there in a few weeks during Purdue weekend.

Phillip's Baptism

We celebrated Phillip's Baptism on August 3. It was a marathon Baptism session, as Phillip was one of nine children being baptized that day!
