First Foods

We started Margaret on solids January 1. She started with some rice cereal, which she really enjoyed. Since then, we have also added peas to the menu. Here are some photos of her first attempts at food.

Driver Training Part Two: The Road Test!

Now that Margaret has had a few weeks of practice in her stationary car, she has tried out her mobile car! She loves it, and had a great time driving around the basement with daddy. She did have to take a break, though, so that she could watch the laundry tumbling in the washing machine for a while! (We have a front loader, so there is a window where you can see inside the machine.)

Driver Training

Well, we have started Margaret in driver training! She LOVES her car, and she took some teddy bears along for her first drive. Her favorite feature by far is the radio: it took her all of 30 seconds to figure out that she could make it play music by hitting the buttons!

After Thanksgiving fun...

After our big turkey dinner on Thursday, we filled the rest of the holiday weekend with Christmas decorating, a wedding, and a day at the downs (Churchill Downs, that is). Margaret even picked a winning horse! (Daddy made the bet on the horse she pointed at in the program.)
